1)                                          

• Integration and motivation of the AVI Board
• Formulating political letters and papers
• Performing official opening speeches and ceremonies
• Collecting and formulating items for AVI Board agenda 

2)

• Preparing AVI meetings
• Taking minutes of Board meetings and preparing final report
• Implementing Board decisions in terms of official letters, papers etc.
• Documenting reports of centers and liaisons
• Producing AVI materials (brochures, businesscards etc.) in conjunction with the Board 

3)

• Representing Auroville in AVI
• Representing AVI in Auroville (f.i. in Unity Pavilion, IZ group, APDC, Aurofuture etc.)
• Defining and welcoming new potential (corporate) AVI members in Auroville
• Defining and documenting new potential (individual and national) AVI members
• Forwarding requests to 1, 2 and 4
• Supporting AVI meetings in Auroville and abroad
  

4)

• Creating AVI strategies and means to implement them, in consultation with the Board
  
• Preparing AVI meetings
  
• Supervising AVI website and AVI materials

B. AVI budget 2004/2005

 

Proposals to increase income:

• Supply AVI centers and liaisons with ideas for fundraising and commercial activities (organizing tours to Auroville, fees for events and seminars, membership fees, grants).
  
• Define potential well-wishers and donors in different countries. Make the idea of legacies more public (see meeting report). A special article in AV Today might help.
  
• Apply for grants at government or UN level (may get easier after UN accreditation).
